First Floor

Kitchen

A very spacious and well equipped dining/kitchen, with a four oven gas-fired AGA, and for the summer a two oven (electric)/four gas ring AGA companion. It includes a Rational kitchen (German) with plentiful cupboards, drawers and storage, two kitchen sinks, lots of work surfaces, a dishwasher, breakfast bar and access to the terrace overlooking the courtyard and the terrace overlooking the entrance drive. Access by stairs to the ground floor and the utility room.

Lounge

Very cosy lounge, with a large wood-burning Jötel stove, TV point and the control unit for the sound system, with speakers throughout the house. Access to the terrace overlooking the entrance drive, to the upstairs hall and on to the master bedroom suite.

Hall

Main staircase leading to the front entrance on the ground floor. Access to the Master Suite.

Master Suite

A very roomy bedroom, fully equipped with lots of fitted storage. There is an ensuite bathroom with giant bath, two wash-hand basins, WC, bidet and two electric towel rails. There is also a walk-in double shower. French doors lead to a private terrace.

The first floor has the AGA and a wood-burning stove, and is heated by radiators.

Ground Floor

Bedroom

A very large bedroom currently with wardrobe and drawers, plus a separate dressing room with fitted wardrobes and storage.
There is a large, fully fitted shower room adjacent with shower, WC, bidet, wash-hand basin and electric towel rail.
Next to it is a built-in cupboard for coats etc.

Hall

The hall brings you to the two-storey main entrance hall, which looks amazing at Christmas with its four metre tree! From here there is access to the study”

Study

Currently in use as a study and TV room. Both British and French satelite feeds are available, as well as control of the broadband and wi-fi. This could easily make another roomy bedroom.

Remainder of the Ground Floor

Leading from the study is the rear entrance hall with another large fitted cloaks cupboard and the staircase to the kitchen. Off the hall is a cloakroom with WC, bidet, wash-hand basin and electric towel rail.
Also off the hall and beneath the kitchen is a large utility room currently with washing machine, dryer, fridge / freezer, large kitchen sink and shelving throughout. The hall gives direct access to the courtyard.

The ground floor has under-floor heating throughout.
